Ishaq Shuaib is a Lecturer in the Department of Arabic, Faculty of Arts, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria with less than a year university teaching and research experience. He teaches Arabic Language, Literary History and Criticism. His research majorly focuses on Arabic Literature and Criticism in Nigeria. He holds an M.A in Arabic Studies, Ph.D. in Arabic Literature and Professional Diploma in Education.
He has to his credit, three (3) publications in reputable outlets covering chapter in book, edited conference proceeding and collection of poems. He is a member, Academic Society of Arabic Language and Literature in Nigeria (ASALLIN), Council of Islamic Literature in Nigeria (CILIN) and World League of Islamic Literature (WLIL).
