Biography

Jamiu Saadullah Abdulkareem is a Lecturer in the Department of Arabic, Faculty of Arts, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria with nine (9) years university teaching, research and administrative experience. He teaches Arabic Language & Translation, Literary History and Criticism. His research majorly focuses on Arabic Literature and Nigerian Culture. He holds an M.A in Arabic Studies, Ph.D. in Arabic Literature and Professional Diploma in Education.

He has to his credit, forty (40) publications in reputable outlets covering journals, chapters in books and edited conference proceeding. He is a member, Academic Society of Arabic Language and Literature in Nigeria (ASALLIN), Council of Islamic Literature in Nigeria (CILIN) and World League of Islamic Literature (WLIL).
