Abdus-Salam Babatunde Ambali is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Arabic & Transnational Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria with 7 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He teaches Arabic Language, Literature, Criticism and Translation with three working languages: Arabic, English and Yoruba. His research majorly focuses on‭ ‬literary works‭ ‬of the Yoruba Arabic scholars that experiences‭ ‬multidimensional influence of Social‭ ‬and Developmental‭ ‬Issues. He holds‭ ‬Ph.D.‭ ‬in‭ ‬Literature‭ ‬in Arabic‭ ‬and‭ ‬Professional Diploma in Education.

He has to his credit‭ ‬twenty-two ‭ ‬publications in reputable outlets covering journals,‭ ‬chapters in books and Books.‭ ‬He has successfully supervised a master dissertation while two Ph.D. theses are in progress. Dr Ambali is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.‭
